Trans World Airlines Moves to Terminal C

RDU Airport, NC – Trans World Airlines will move its operations to Terminal C effective July 31, 2001. This move comes as a result of TWA's acquisition by American Airlines.

All flights scheduled for departures and arrival on July 30, 2001 will do so from Terminal A, gate 14 at TWA's current location. Beginning on the morning of July 31, 2001, all TWA operations will use Terminal C, gate 19, which will become TWA's new home.

The ticket counter and gate space left vacant in Terminal A by TWA will be occupied by America West Airlines, which will begin service at RDU on October 28.
