RDU Reaches 50 Nonstop Destinations as Frontier Airlines Announces Kansas City and Providence

Frontier also adding Cincinnati and Austin

RDU Airport, N.C. – With two new cities and four new nonstop routes, Raleigh-Durham International Airport will soon serve 50 nonstop destination, thanks to a huge announcement from Frontier Airlines today. The airline will begin serving two new destinations: Kansas City and Providence as well as launch new flights to Austin and Cincinnati.

“Fifty nonstop destinations is a huge milestone for us,” said Michael Landguth, president and CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority. “Thanks to Frontier’s growth at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, we can better connect Triangle travelers to new destinations at super affordable fares. What’s more, Kansas City is a top unserved destination and Providence is a very popular northeastern city. This is great news for travelers.”

The start dates and schedules for Kansas City, Providence and Cincinnati will be available soon on www.flyfrontier.com  and will begin in Spring 2018.
