RDU Holds Auction to Sell Lost Items and Surplus Equipment

RDU Airport, NC – The Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will hold an auction tomorrow, May 18, beginning at 10 a.m. to sell abandoned vehicles, lost and found items and surplus equipment. The auction will be held at the Authority’s maintenance building.

A preview begins at 8 a.m.

Items to be auctioned include over 30 abandoned vehicles, maintenance equipment, jewelry, watches, cell phones, pagers, luggage and toys.

Wester Auction & Realty of Benson is managing the sale. Directions: Follow signs to Cargo I and II. Just before the terminal, turn left in front of the parking garage and follow auction signs to the maintenance facility.
