Raleigh-Durham International Airport Now on Twitter

RDU Airport, NC – Raleigh-Durham International Airport today officially launched its Twitter page at twitter.com/RDUairport. Here, customers and the public can sign up to learn about airport projects, new air service announcements, special promotions, the impact of inclement weather on flights and more. Followers will receive tweets, which are brief text messages, each week.

“We understand that our customers are receiving their information in many ways,” said Teresa Damiano, RDU's director of marketing. “By using Twitter, we can quickly communicate important and timely information to our passengers and those interested in what is happening at RDU.”

RDU's presence on Twitter is just in time for the holidays. Thanksgiving travelers who follow RDU on Twitter will receive travel tips, as well as information on special holiday events and what to expect when they arrive at the airport.
