Non-stop Service from RDU to Los Angeles Begins Today

RDU Airport, NC – At 7:40 p.m. today, Delta flight 1641 will depart Raleigh-Durham International Airport for Los Angeles International Airport, arriving in the West Coast city at 10 p.m. local time. The flight will operate Sun. through Fri.

“LA has consistently been at the top of the list of cities for which our region can support non-stop service,” said Teresa Damiano, RDU’s director of marketing. “Demand for service to the West coast from our region remains high. From LA, our customers now have easy access to other West coast cities and Asia.”

Delta offered service to the popular leisure and business destination from June 2006 through Jan. 2008. The airline discontinued service due to escalating fuels costs and schedule changes.

Passengers can travel from LA to RDU on Flight 1080. The flight departs LA at 10:15 p.m. and arrives at RDU at 6:10 a.m. the next day.
