Delta Air Lines Announces Service to Salt Lake City

RDU Airport, NC – Delta has announced that they will begin offering non-stop daily flights from RDU to Salt Lake City (SLC), operated with 737-800 aircraft, starting June 1, 2005. These are the first non-stop flights by Delta between RDU and Salt Lake City, linking RDU's growing business market to Delta's hub.

Salt Lake City is the latest addition to Delta's schedule at RDU. During 2004, Delta announced flights to New Orleans, added frequencies to Orlando and Tampa; and introduced a Boston flight in February.

Airlines serving RDU offer daily service to 250 destinations. Since December 2003, airlines have added 44 daily flights at RDU to meet continued demand from local passengers.
