Delta Air Lines Announces Service to New Orleans

RDU Airport, NC — Delta Airlines last week announced daily nonstop service from Raleigh-Durham International Airport to New Orleans. Delta Connection carrier Chautauqua Airlines will offer the two daily flights. Service to the popular business and leisure destination will begin on March 2.

Following is the Delta Connection carrier Chautauqua's new schedule between RDU and New Orleans, effective March 2, 2005:

Departs RDU: 7:15 a.m.
Arrives New Orleans: 8:25 a.m.

Departs New Orleans: 9:00 a.m.
Arrives RDU: 12:00 p.m.

Flight 6453
Departs RDU: 5:00 p.m.
Arrives New Orleans: 6:10 p.m.

Departs New Orleans: 6:35 p.m.
Arrives RDU: 9:35 p.m.

New Orleans is the latest addition Delta Airlines has made to its schedule at RDU. On December 1, Delta added service to Boston, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando. On January 1, the airline will begin service to Tampa, Florida with two daily departures.

Airlines serving RDU offer daily service to 250 destinations. Since December 2003, airlines have added 44 daily flights at RDU to meet continued demand from local passengers.
