AirTran to Relocate Ticket Counter and Airline Gate at RDU

RDU Airport, NC – On Thursday, November 16, AirTran Airways is relocating its ticket counter from the north end of Terminal A next to Southwest Airlines, to the south end where it will be located between the Northwest and Continental Airlines’ ticket counters. AirTran will also begin operating from Gate A11 on the concourse.

All AirTran Airways’ passengers with travel plans on November 16 and after will now check-in with the airline at its new location.

AirTran’s baggage claim will also relocate to bag claim areas 1, 2, 3 located in Terminal A near the visitor information counter. The airline’s baggage claim was previously located at bag claims 4 and 5.
