Three Rings And A Tweet: A Lost and Found Story

Recently, a sentimental item left behind by a passenger in the parking garage was turned in at the RDU Information Desk. Lost items are a part of daily life at the airport, and the goal is always to reunite the lost items and their owners whenever possible.

I’d like to share with you a recent unique lost and found story that occurred at RDU.

Maybe it was the magic of the holiday season or maybe it was the creative work of some RDU employees, but in this video, Airport Authority, TSA and American Airline employees tell the remarkable story of how they figured out who the items belonged to and worked together, with the help of Twitter, to reunite the item and its owner.
