United Airlines LaGuardia Service
New York City is a popular destination year-round, and United Airlines is adding options to the Big Apple via LaGuardia Airport.
Enjoy three new daily flights to New York City’s domestic airport beginning October 30.
Did you know? LGA is the closest airport to Manhattan.
The departure times are listed below. Flight duration is about two hours.
From RDU:
- 9 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m.
- 6:22 p.m.
Delta Adds Newark Service
Delta has announced nonstop service to New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport starting Nov. 6. There will be three daily flights to connect the Triangle with Newark, the Garden State’s largest airport.
The departure times from RDU are listed below. Flight duration is about 2 hours.
- 6:40 a.m.
- 12:25 p.m.
- 5:15 p.m.
Delta Makes In-Flight Entertainment Free For All Passengers
Good news for Delta flyers. By late summer, 90 percent of Delta’s flights will feature free in-flight entertainment. Delta Studio, the airline’s entertainment portal, streams content and wireless internet for all passengers on Delta flights. Delta has made all media on Delta Studio free, including movies and popular television shows. The new entertainment offerings start July 1.
United Offers Complimentary Snacks for International Flights
United Airlines plans to resume snack offerings for coach passengers on international flights, at no extra charge. There will also be changes to breakfast options for those traveling in the morning from the U.S. to Europe. The newer breakfast will feature a warm croissant with jam and yogurt. New offerings start June 1.
