Delta Announces 7-Day Service to LA and Additional Flights to Orlando and Tampa

RDU Airport, NC – Delta Air Lines this week announced that it will expand its current service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Los Angeles to seven day service on April 8. Delta will also add a second flight to Orlando, while launching new service to Tampa on March 2.

“RDU welcomes Delta’s new service additions,” said Teresa Damiano, RDU deputy airport director of marketing and customer relations. “We have known for some time that our market could support daily service to Los Angeles and support Delta’s decision to upgrade this service. Tampa and Orlando have always been popular destinations for our passengers for both business and leisure reasons.”

The flight to Los Angeles will depart RDU at 7 a.m. and arrive in L.A. at 9:30 a.m. local time. It will return via an overnight flight departing L.A. at 10:30 p.m. local time and arriving at RDU at 6:10 a.m.
