The Animals Are Coming Back: Frontier Returns to RDU in April
We’re having a great start to 2013 in regards to air service announcements. This morning, we learned that Larry, Flip and Hector, as well as their other animal friends, will soon be landing at RDU once again as Frontier Airlines returns to RDU, bringing non-stop service to Princeton/Trenton, New Jersey on April 8. The animals are part of the airline’s popular series of wildlife photos featured on the aircraft tails.
Trenton-Mercer County Airport is about halfway between Philadelphia and Newark and is a great alternative to the two cities and their metropolitan areas. The airport’s location is also great for those traveling to eastern Pennsylvania and north-central New Jersey.
The flights will operate between the two cities in the morning on business days, with the schedule varying by day, but allowing for mid-to-late morning meetings in either RDU or Princeton/Trenton. On Sundays, the flight will operate mid-afternoons. The flight will not operate on Saturdays.

Passengers flying the route will have access to more than 30 channels of DIRECTV® service at each of the 138-seats aboard the Airbus A-319 aircraft. The planes also feature five rows of the airline’s signature STRETCH seating, offering more legroom.
To mark the launch of the new service, Frontier is offering $29 introductory fares for a select number of seats on each RDU-TTN flight if tickets are booked by January 23. Book your flight now.
This new service is yet another sign that airlines have a lot of confidence in our market. We’re looking forward to welcoming Frontier back to RDU.
