Nov 02, 2011

RDU Airport, NC – On Friday, Vision Airlines begins non-stop service from Raleigh-Durham International Airport to Grand Bahama Island. The airline will offer the service on Mondays and Fridays on a Boeing-737 and will operate from Terminal 2.

“Grand Bahama Island is a great addition to RDU’s list of non-stop destinations,” said Teresa Damiano, RDU’s director of marketing. “This is a popular leisure destination for our passengers, particularly those who are looking for a warm weather getaway in the winter.”

The airline will offer the service on Mondays and Fridays on a Boeing-737. Tickets are available through the airline’s web site.

The flight to Grand Bahama Island is Vision’s first commercial operation at RDU. The airline started 17 years ago as Vision Air providing charter service. Vision Airlines began commercial service in fall 2010.
