RDU to Hold Auction of Surplus Property

RDU Airport, NC – This Saturday, October 15, the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority will hold an auction of surplus property. At the event, buyers will find automobiles, unclaimed property from RDU’s lost and found and surplus office and airport equipment. A preview of items will be held between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. The auction will begin at 9 a.m. and will last until the last item is sold.

The auction will be held at the RDU Maintenance Facility. Raleigh Auction & Estate Sales is administering the event.

Items featured at this year’s auction include jewelry, shoes, cameras, video game systems, sports equipment and light fixtures. Thirteen vehicles will also be auctioned off.

Items not available at the auction include laptops, clothing, flash drives, baby care items and cell phones. The Airport Authority donated these items to local charities.

The following forms of payment will be accepted: cash, N.C. check and credit card.
