Southwest Airlines Announces Nonstop Service to Denver

RDU Airport, NC – Southwest Airlines today announced it will begin nonstop service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Denver. The new service will begin May 10.

Denver is not the only new service Southwest Airlines is launching at RDU. On February 4, the airline will begin nonstop service to Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

With the two additions to its schedule, Southwest will offer 33 daily departures from RDU to 10 destinations. The airline currently offers daily nonstop service from RDU to Baltimore-Washington, Chicago, Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tampa-St. Petersburg.

Other airlines at RDU are also kicking off new service. Tomorrow, JetBlue begins nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale. Delta begins weekly service to Cancun on February 2, while AirTran will fly nonstop to Orlando beginning February 14.
