JetBlue Begins Service to Boston
RDU Airport, NC – Today, JetBlue Airlines begins nonstop service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Boston’s Logan Airport. The airline announced the addition of service to Boston when it launched daily service from RDU to New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport in July. JetBlue now offers five daily departures from RDU.
In 2005, Boston was the eighth most popular airport destination for RDU passengers. With the addition of JetBlue’s service, airlines serving RDU now offer 12 daily flights from RDU to Boston.
For the flight, the airline will be using its Embraer 190 aircraft. This 100-seat aircraft offers customers comfortable all-leather seats and the most live entertainment options in the skies today, with 36 channels of DIRECTV programming and more than 100 channels of XM Satellite Radio.
