Heads Up About ParkRDU Economy 3 Parking Improvements

Are you planning an end-of-summer vacation? Here’s a heads-up that may affect where you park at Raleigh-Durham International Airport before you jet off one last weekend getaway before the leaves start changing colors.

Starting Monday August 1, we began work to resurface and restripe sections of ParkRDU Economy 3, our most popular economy parking lot. This is the large lot located near Sheetz, just off I-40 at Aviation Parkway.

We will work with our vendors to complete this project in multiple phases, keeping part of the lot open at all times.

We are committed to making this improvement project as seamless as possible, however, there are times over the next 9 weeks that the lot may fill to capacity.

As an alternative, please consider ParkRDU Economy 4, which offers many benefits:

• Lower Daily Rate – You can’t park closer for less.
• 24 Hour Shuttle Service – Shortest shuttle ride to Terminals.
• Easy access to Lumley Rd, U.S. 70 and I-540
